Place it on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from draughts and flammable items. Burn for around 10–15 minutes until a pool forms. Extinguish the flame, let the oil cool slightly and test a small amount for a comfortably warm temperature before pouring into your hand.

Keep the lit candle attended and away from children and pets. Allow the oil and vessel to cool completely before replacing the lid and storing.
